TBC: Info Session w/ Barbara Beall In-Person

HI - generally, I have them come to the library and if any have lap tops they bring them. It works out OK and getting them into the library is positive.

There is a Lib Guide already in existence so that should be posted for ARTH 156 - and I will send you a copy of the syllabus when it is completed.

Please do give general information on researching - they may NOT use Wikipedia in their bibliographies. They will need to undertstand how to research African topics. The class is already full at 28 and about 1/4 are first years. Usually, we also use the later part of the session for them to begin researching their potential topics and you and I can then walk around and help them.

Please do provide information on how to make an appointment with a reference librarian after this session.

Just wanted to check in early about scheduling a research library session for my Fall 2018 class ARTH 156 African Art & Architecture: An Introduction. The class is full with 28 students at all levels (several first years).
It runs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:25-2:40PM
In order of preference might a session be scheduled for:

Many thanks - and we already have a Lib Guide.
